In the game, players defend the "World" from ghost monsters and develop their character's skills and abilities, as in typical role-playing games. There is a soul system that allows players absorb souls from monsters. Players can interact with others in many ways, such as through chatting, trading. Groups of players can band together in parties to hunt monsters, and share the rewards.Players can fight each other with the game PvP system. Players can also band in a guild to battle with other guilds.

Story Mode
Lord Tai He and his apprentices rid the world of Demons, but Tai He had used forbidden magic that corrupted his souls. So he had to go to the western lands, to find the sacred herb to cleanse them. The player is Tai He for a short time, learning the basics in Batu Caves. After defeating a clone, Tai He eats the herb, dies and is reborn as your character.

3) The ground breaking Soul System

The Soul System that allows players to absorb the souls from the monsters that you have defeated is one of the major characteristics of GO. After players have defeated the monsters, you will discover a soul floating up the sky in addition of the loots that are dropped on the ground. Players can click Ctrl button to absorb the souls of the monsters. There are a few different kinds of soul and each of it has a unique function to help the players in their adventure in the world of GO.

4) The souls are divided into 4 categories:

 Purple Soul
 After absorbing it, the soul can be accumulated in Seal Equipment equipped by character. 
 Red Soul
 After absorbing it, you can accumulate the Rage Point for transformation.
 Blue Soul
 Restores 20% SP when character absorbs it.
 Green Soul
 Restores 40% SP when character absorbs it.
